What Zen Zone Body Scrub Looks Like

Himalayan pink salt is the base of every RL Organics scrub, and it keeps its natural rose-and-white coloring rather than being dyed. The result is a coarse, pink-flecked scrub rather than a uniform paste.

The crystals sit suspended in coconut and sunflower oils, which pool a little at the surface between uses. That separation is normal in an oil-based scrub made without synthetic emulsifiers: stir it before use and it comes back together.

The grain is genuinely coarse. This is a salt scrub rather than a fine sugar polish, and you can feel the crystals between your fingers before they reach your skin.

How Zen Zone Body Scrub Smells

Cedarwood anchors the blend: dry, woody, resinous, the note doing most of the grounding work. Grapefruit adds a bright pink-citrus lift so the blend does not sit too heavy. Spearmint finishes it with a soft, sweet, rounded mint, noticeably gentler than peppermint and without the sharp cooling bite.

That spearmint choice is what makes this the calm scrub rather than the energizing one. Peppermint would wake you up; spearmint just clears your head a little. Wood, citrus, soft mint, in that order of weight, which is why it suits an evening shower better than a rushed morning one.

How to Use Zen Zone Body Scrub

Apply to damp skin in the shower or bath. Massage in circular motions to exfoliate, focusing on rough or dry areas. Rinse thoroughly with warm water.

Use two to three times a week. Because this is an oil-based scrub, the tub can get slippery, so take care getting out.

For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes. Avoid use on broken or freshly shaved skin. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.

Is the mint cooling? Spearmint is much softer than peppermint. There is a light freshness rather than the sharp cold tingle peppermint gives.

Why has the oil separated? That is what an oil-and-salt scrub does without synthetic emulsifiers. Stir before each use.

How is it different from Balance Me Out? Same cedarwood and grapefruit base. Balance Me Out finishes with lime, which is sharper and more zesty. Zen Zone finishes with spearmint, which is softer.
