What Jumpstart My Day Body Scrub Looks Like

Himalayan pink salt gives every RL Organics scrub its base, and it keeps its natural rose-and-white coloring rather than being dyed. The scrub reads coarse and pink-flecked rather than smooth or uniform.

The crystals sit suspended in coconut and sunflower oils, which pool slightly at the surface between uses. That separation is normal in an oil-based scrub made without synthetic emulsifiers: stir before use and it comes straight back together.

The grain is genuinely coarse, a salt scrub rather than a fine sugar polish, which is part of why it works as a morning wake-up rather than a gentle polish.

How Jumpstart My Day Body Scrub Smells

Three essential oils, and this is the sharpest blend in the scrub lineup.

Eucalyptus leads, and it is the note that does the actual waking up: cool, camphorous and clearing, the smell that seems to open your breathing in a hot shower. Grapefruit adds a bright, slightly bitter pink-citrus zing on top of it. Spearmint rounds the finish with a soft, sweet mint.

How to Use Jumpstart My Day Body Scrub

Apply to damp skin in the shower. Massage in circular motions to exfoliate, focusing on rough or dry areas. Rinse thoroughly with warm water.

Use two to three times a week. Because this is an oil-based scrub, the tub can get slippery, so take care getting out.

For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes. Avoid use on broken or freshly shaved skin. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
