What Sunroot Bliss Soap Looks Like

The color here comes from food, not pigment. Carrot powder carries natural carotenoids, the same compounds that make carrots orange, and they tint the soap to a warm golden, sun-baked tone.

Because it is a botanical colorant rather than a lab-matched dye, the exact shade shifts slightly from batch to batch depending on the powder itself. One batch may lean more amber, another more butter-yellow. That variation is a sign the color is real.

It is a warm-toned bar throughout rather than a banded or heavily swirled one, which is part of why it reads as calm rather than busy.

How Sunroot Bliss Soap Smells

Two citrus oils, and they do different jobs. Lemon brings the sharp, clean, zesty top note. Wild orange sits underneath it and rounds it out, sweeter and rounder and less acidic than lemon on its own.

The combination is warm citrus rather than sharp citrus. Where a lemon-and-tea-tree bar reads bracing, lemon-and-wild-orange reads sunny and comfortable, closer to peel and warm afternoon than to a cold morning.

Ingredients: Water, Saponified Oils of Coconut, Hemp Seed, Rice Bran, Sunflower, Sweet Almond and Shea Butter, Lemon Essential Oil, Wild Orange Essential Oil, Carrot Powder.

How to Use Sunroot Bliss Soap

Wet the bar and your skin with warm water. Work Sunroot Bliss Soap between your hands or onto a washcloth to build a lather, cleanse, and rinse thoroughly.

Store it on a well-draining dish away from standing water between uses.

For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.

Sunroot Bliss Soap Questions, Answered

Where does the golden color come from? Carrot powder, a natural botanical colorant. No synthetic dye is used, which is why the shade varies a little between batches.

Does it smell like carrots? No. The carrot powder is there for color. The scent comes entirely from the lemon and wild orange essential oils.
