Sage And Soil Soap is a bar with visible texture and an unapologetically herbal character. Whole kamar kas seeds are folded through it, ashwagandha powder warms the body of the bar, and titanium dioxide keeps the lighter passages opaque.

What Sage And Soil Soap Looks Like

This is a textural bar rather than a smooth one. Kamar kas seeds are added during the pour and stay visible throughout as small dark inclusions, giving the soap the speckled, soil-like look the name promises.

Ashwagandha powder contributes a natural earthy tan tone to the body of the bar, while titanium dioxide lightens and opacifies the paler passages so they read clean rather than muddy. A mica finish adds a soft shimmer that is most visible on a dry bar.

Because the seeds are distributed by hand, no two bars carry the same scatter. Some slices catch more, some fewer.

How Sage And Soil Soap Smells

Two essential oils, both firmly on the green end of the spectrum.

Rosemary leads: sharp, herbaceous, faintly piney and camphorous, the smell of a herb garden after rain. It is the note that does the “sage” work in the name, even though the bar does not contain sage itself.

Tea tree sits underneath, clean and green with that recognizable medicinal edge, reinforcing rather than softening the herbal direction.

There is no citrus lifting this one and nothing sweet in it. It is a genuinely herbal bar, closer to a greenhouse than to a perfume counter, and that is exactly the appeal for people who find floral and citrus soaps too fussy.

Handcrafted in Small Batches

Every bar of Sage And Soil Soap is poured, cut and cured by hand in small batches. Folding whole seeds through a batch by hand takes longer than a smooth pour, and it is the reason each bar comes out its own.

Ingredients: Water, Saponified Oils of Coconut, Hemp Seed, Rice Bran, Sunflower, Sweet Almond and Shea Butter, Rosemary Essential Oil, Tea Tree Essential Oil, Ashwagandha Powder, Kamar Kas Seeds, Fragrance, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Mica.

How to Use Sage And Soil Soap

Wet the bar and your skin with warm water. Work Sage And Soil Soap between your hands or onto a washcloth to build a lather, cleanse, and rinse thoroughly.

Store it on a well-draining dish away from standing water between uses.

For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.

What are the dark specks? Kamar kas seeds, folded into the batch during the pour. They stay in the bar rather than sitting on the surface as a coating.

Is it exfoliating? Lightly. The seeds add texture, but this is a cleansing bar rather than a true scrub. For real exfoliation, pair it with a body scrub.

Does it actually contain sage? No. Rosemary does the herbal work here, and the name describes the bar’s earthy, green character.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin? Rosemary and tea tree are both active essential oils. Patch test on a small area first if your skin reacts easily.
