Frosted Feni Soap: Crisp as the First Frost

Frosted Feni Soap takes both halves of its name from what is in it. The “frosted” comes from titanium dioxide, which gives the bar its pale, opaque, frost-white body. The “feni” comes from fenugreek powder, a warm golden-tan botanical worked into the formula underneath.

What Frosted Feni Soap Looks Like

This is one of the palest bars in the collection. Titanium dioxide lightens and opacifies the soap so the surface reads genuinely frost-white rather than off-white or translucent, which is what gives the bar its wintry look.

Fenugreek powder sits beneath that as a natural botanical addition, contributing a warm tan undertone that keeps the pale surface from feeling cold or clinical. A mica finish adds a fine shimmer across the top, most visible on a dry, freshly unwrapped bar, like light catching frost.

Because each batch is poured by hand, the balance between the frosted white and the warmer underlying tone shifts slightly from bar to bar.

How Frosted Feni Soap Smells

This is a more interesting pairing than the name suggests, because the two oils sit at opposite ends of the range.

Cedarwood is the base: dry, woody, resinous and grounding, the note that gives the bar its cold-air-through-pine-trees quality. Lemon cuts across the top of it, sharp and clean and bright.

Wood underneath, citrus above. The cedarwood keeps the lemon from reading as a simple kitchen-fresh citrus soap, and the lemon keeps the cedarwood from going heavy or dark. Together they land crisp and cool rather than warm, which is exactly the “first frost” idea the bar is named for.

Handcrafted in Small Batches

Every bar of Frosted Feni Soap is poured, cut and cured by hand in small batches, never mass-produced on an assembly line. The weeks-long cure is what makes the bar hard, mild and long-lasting.

Frosted Feni Soap Ingredients

Ingredients: Water, Saponified Oils of Coconut, Hemp Seed, Rice Bran, Sunflower, Castor and Shea Butter, Sodium Lactate, Cedarwood Essential Oil, Lemon Essential Oil, Fenugreek Powder, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Mica.

How to Use Frosted Feni Soap

Wet the bar and your skin with warm water. Work Frosted Feni Soap between your hands or onto a washcloth to build a lather, cleanse, and rinse thoroughly.

Store it on a well-draining dish away from standing water between uses.

For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
