Earthen Bloom 2 Soap gets its color entirely from the ground. Green kaolin clay, yellow kaolin clay and chlorophyll give the bar its green and ochre earth tones, with no synthetic dye involved anywhere in the formula.

What Earthen Bloom 2 Soap Looks Like

Three natural colorants do all the work here, which is unusual even among handcrafted soaps.

Green kaolin clay brings a soft, muted, sage-toned green. Yellow kaolin clay brings a warm ochre, the color of dry earth. Chlorophyll oil deepens the green side and pushes it toward something more vegetal and alive.

Together they produce a bar that genuinely looks like soil and new growth rather than a bar that has been dyed to imitate them. The tones are muted rather than vivid, and because clays are mined natural materials, the exact shade varies from batch to batch.

Kaolin clays also lend a silky, slightly powdery slip to the lather, so the earth in this bar is something you feel as well as see. A mica finish adds light shimmer on a dry bar.

How Earthen Bloom 2 Soap Smells

One essential oil, chosen carefully: tangerine.

Tangerine is the softest and sweetest of the citrus oils, rounder than lemon and gentler than grapefruit, without the sharpness that makes some citrus bars feel like a wake-up call. It smells like peel and sunshine rather than acid.

Set against the earthy, mineral character of the clays, that softness is what creates the “earthen meets bloom” idea in the name. The clay grounds it, the tangerine lifts it, and neither one dominates. Ingredients: Water, Saponified Oils of Coconut, Hemp Seed, Rice Bran, Sunflower, Castor and Shea Butter, Tangerine Essential Oil, Chlorophyll Oil, Green Kaolin Clay, Yellow Kaolin Clay, Mica.

How to Use Earthen Bloom 2 Soap

Wet the bar and your skin with warm water. Work Earthen Bloom 2 Soap between your hands or onto a washcloth to build a lather, cleanse, and rinse thoroughly.

Store it on a well-draining dish away from standing water between uses.

For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
